Ponte de Requeixo

Commonly known as the “Roman Bridge”, historical sources indicate that this ashlar structure was built in the 19th century. Erected at the confluence of the Águeda and Cértima rivers, it remains a landmark of civil engineering and a reminder of the region’s former commercial and agricultural routes. Restored in 2009, it continues to serve as a vital link between Aveiro and Águeda.
